My love of small-town life serves as inspiration for stories about love and friendship that span generations. The Harbor Cove series is set in the fishing town of Gloucester, MA.  Join six middle-aged women as they rely on each other throughout life’s challenges.

 

The Caldwell series is written for young adults, and takes place in another small town in MA.  The series  focuses on Teagan, an ace/aro teen, her best friend Brian, and a new girl in town who has a problem that only Teagan recognizes. There's lots of high school theater, and the series deals with the issues of eating disorders and body positivity in all sizes.

Speaking of theater, my first book is a non-fiction guidebook for children’s theater, Sets on a Shoestring.

 

In addition to writing, I also teach two classes on publishing (one on traditional, and one on indie publishing) at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA.   I live in the area with my husband, two daughters, and a frisky feline. I'm a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group and an avid participant in National Novel Writing Month.
